Strong October for Existing Home Sales

Existing-home sales rose in October, hitting a pace not seen since earlier this summer.

The market’s strength was tempered somewhat by continued shortages in housing supply. During the month, inventory stood at 3.9 months, compared with 4.4 months of inventory available in October of 2016.

Median sales price for EHS was also on the rise, up 5.5% during October.
